Maconomy’s subsidiary in the UK has entered into a joint agreement with two large international PR agencies for the purchase and implementation, in Europe, of licenses for 855 users. The first users are expected to go live April 1, 2006. The agreement is furthermore of strategic importance to Maconomy, as it strengthens our position as a leading supplier of business systems to global PR agencies, one of Maconomy’s core industries. The agreement also contains an option for further expansion of Maconomy licenses to other regions where the PR agencies are present. Both agencies are part of one of the world’s largest agency networks.
This agreement is contained in Maconomy’s expectations for the result before tax for 2005.
Communication of new orders in Maconomy
Maconomy has decided to re-evaluate the company’s policy for announcement of new orders. Going forward Maconomy will announce new orders for the purchase of licenses for 500 users and above, or orders of strategic importance to Maconomy via a stock exchange announcement to OMX Copenhagen Stock Exchange. Orders for the purchase of licenses for 500 users or above are larger orders for Maconomy and will on average have a value for Maconomy of around 5 mill. DKK in licenses, implementation and software subscriptions. Orders outside this category will to a larger extent be announced through press releases. However, Maconomy will always, in each case, acknowledge the regulation on the obligation of announcement concerning companies listed on OMX Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
